2026-2027 Concerts - Our 45th Season
Once Upon a Winter
Tales of Wonder Through a Child's Eyes
This December, Cantemus presents "Once Upon A Winter: Tales of Wonder Through a Child's Eyes", an imaginative concert exploring the season through stories of wonder, memory, family, and hope. The program features Matthew Harris's A Child's Christmas in Wales alongside a rich tapestry of contemporary and traditional repertoire from diverse cultural perspectives. Joining Cantemus will be an 11-piece chamber orchestra and the Lexington Children’s Chorus in a celebration of shared humanity. We hope this music invites us all to rediscover the magic of the season and the shared experiences that unite us.

A Place Called Home
"A Place Called Home" explores one of our deepest human desires: the search for belonging. Through music that reflects memory, welcome, hope, and community, Cantemus invites audiences to consider what it means to find—or create—a place where we are known and where we belong. From intimate reflections to joyful celebrations, this program offers a musical journey that reminds us that home is more than a place; it is built through compassion, connection, and the people who welcome us in.
